Landlord gas safety certificates (CP12)
If you rent out a property, the law requires a gas safety check on every gas appliance and flue each year, with a copy of the record given to your tenants. We carry out landlord gas safety checks, issue the certificate and can arrange reminders so your certificates never lapse.

Smell gas?
If you smell gas, open windows, do not use switches or naked flames, turn off the supply at the meter if safe to do so, leave the property and call the National Gas Emergency Service on 0800 111 999. Once the emergency service has made the supply safe, we can repair the fault.

Every 12 months. Landlords must have all gas appliances, fittings and flues checked each year by a Gas Safe registered engineer and give tenants a copy of the record.
